LATAM CARGO APPOINTS NEW CEO

LATAM Cargo has appointed Andrés Bianchi as its new CEO from April 15.

Bianchi succeeds Cristián Ureta, who will be leaving the company.

 

Bianchi was most recently senior vice president of sales for North America, Europe and Asia.

 

“We will focus on reinforcing LATAM Cargo’s competitiveness in order to maintain our leadership in Latin America,” he said. “We plan to achieve this by continuing to support our customers closely, improving our product portfolio, and enhancing our productivity.”

 

Bianchi first joined the airline’s finance department in 2001. He joined the cargo arm in Miami in 2010 and has served as vice president of finance and senior vice president of network, according to LATAM.
