The carrier serves Stockholm 13 times a week from its Doha hub with a Boeing 787-8.

WFS expects to handle approximately 12,000 tonnes of cargo a year for Qatar Airways at its cargo centre, which opened in 2012.

“We are delighted to now be working with Qatar Airways at our two hubs in Scandinavia and at other WFS stations in Europe,” said Marc Claesen, regional vice president at WFS. “Winning this contract proves the value and strength of the WFS network, which helps us to build growing relationships with major airlines based on the high quality of our safety, security and service performance.”

WFS already provides cargo-handling services for Qatar Airways in Barcelona, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Madrid and Paris in Europe.
