APL ENHANCES ASIA-INDIA SUBCONTINENT SERVICES

APL has enhanced five of its Asia-India Subcontinent services, offering faster turnaround and transit times.

 

In particular, the Asia Subcontinent Express service will be split into two, AS1 and AS3, shortening the current 49-day round trip of the AS1 service to 42 days, while the AS3 service will cover its loop in 35 days.

 

The new AS1 service will have a port rotation of: Qingdao – Shanghai  - Ningbo  - Shekou (CCT) – Singapore – Port Klang – Mundra – Karachi (SAPT) – Port Qasim – Singapore – Qingdao.

 

The first sailing will be operated by APL Antwerp, departing Qingdao on December 12, 2017.

 

The AS3 service will have a port rotation of: Shanghai – Ningbo – Xiamen – Singapore – Karachi (KICT) – Shanghai.

 

The first sailing will be operated by APL Japan, departing Shanghai on December 12, 2017.

 

The new Asia Subcontinent Express 5 service (AS5) will have a port rotation of: Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou (SCT) – Singapore – Karachi (KICT) – Mundra – Port Klang – Singapore – Hong Kong – Singapore.

 

The first sailing will be operated by YM Orchid, departing Shanghai on December 16, 2017.

 

The new China India Express (CIX) service will have a port rotation of: Shanghai – Xiamen – Hong Kong – Shekou (CCT) – Nansha – Singapore – Colombo – Nhava Sheva – Pipavav – Colombo – Port Klang – Singapore – Hong Kong – Shanghai.

 

The first sailing will be operated by ZIM Los Angeles, departing Shanghai on December 12, 2017.

 

The new North Asia Subcontinent Express (CI3) service will have a port rotation of: Xingang – Dalian – Qingdao – Pusan – Kwangyang – Ningbo – Singapore – Tanjong Pelepas – Colombo – Nhava Sheva – Pipavav – Singapore – Xingang.

 

The first sailing will be operated by Maersk Salina, departing Xingang on December 18, 2017.
