APL LAUNCHES JTX SERVICE

APL has launched the Japan-Taiwan-Thailand Express service, a new intra-Asia short-sea service.

 

According to APL, the new JTX service covers six key ports in Japan and offers a transit time of six days from Kaohsiung to Laem Chabang and four days from Keelung to Tokyo.

 

Customers will also gain access to global connectivity, via APL’s network at the transhipment hubs of Hong Kong and Kaohsiung.

 

The JTX service will commence its first sailing from Tokyo February 27, 2018, with the following port rotation: Tokyo – Yokohama – Shimizu – Nagoya – Osaka – Kobe – Keelung – Taichung – Kaohsiung – Hong Kong – Laem Chabang – Bangkok (PAT) – Laem Chabang – Hong Kong – Kaohsiung – Keelung – Tokyo.
