Volga-Dnepr Group has appointed Tony Bauckham as commercial director of Volga-Dnepr UK, the global charter sales centre for Volga-Dnepr Airlines.

According to Volga-Dnepr Group, the appointment is in line with its strategy of building an international team to further its leadership ambitions in the global air charter market.

Bauckham will be responsible for proactive charter sales management, as well as development of the commercial sales team and regional management.

Bauckham previously spent eight years as managing director of British aircraft charter company Air Charter Service. Earlier, between 2004 and 2007, he was part of the Volga-Dnepr UK team as its managing director, having joined from Evergreen International Aviation, where he was executive vice president and a board member.
