CARGOLUX APPOINTS NEW EVP

Cargolux has named Jason Holt as its new executive vice president of flight operations.

Holt will take up his new role in the fourth quarter of 2015 and replaces Marcel Funk, who retired earlier this year. He will also be a member of the Cargolux executive committee, according to the airline.

Holt will be joining Cargolux from Easyjet, where he was the head of Gatwick operations and operational strategy. He previously held management positions at Virgin Atlantic, British Mediterranean Airways and Arik Air, according to a statement.

Meanwhile, Cargolux has also appointed Claude Zehren, chief pilot, to be the deputy head of flight operations.
