CEVA Logistics has appointed Laurent Binetti as its new chief commercial officer from September 1, 2018.

According to CEVA, Binetti will be based at the company’s head office in Baar, Switzerland, and will be part of the executive board.

“We are very happy to have Laurent with us and we warmly welcome him to CEVA Logistics,” said Xavier Urbain, CEO of CEVA. “He will bring different and exciting views on how to bring our commercial and business development activities to the next level.”

Binetti started his career in the retail industry and subsequently spent more than 20 years with Dell, where he held several senior commercial positions in Switzerland and the UK. During his time at Dell, he expanded the company’s presence into new locations and developed new products and services. More recently, he has led several start-up initiatives, helping young entrepreneurs to structure their go-to-market strategies. He holds an MBA from the University of Neuchatel in Switzerland.
