MICHAEL WHITE JOINS PAYCARGO BOARD

PayCargo has announced the appointment of industry veteran Michael White to its Board citing the industry's move to more digital solutions.

 

In a statement, the cargo payment platform noted White's extensive experience with 25 years of work in the airfreight sector holding various senior positions at Frontier Airlines, United Airlines, Cargo Service Center, SkyLink USA, Cargo Network Services, at the helm of the Air Transport Association and most recently as the founder and president of Trade Network Consultants LLC.

 

White also served various key positions in government like the Gore Commission TWA 800 working group on air cargo security, and as a member of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA)’s Aviation Security Advisory Committee Air Cargo Working Group and the Canadian Cross Border Harmonization Task Force.

 

Currently, he is on his second term as a member of the Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC) after appointment by the Secretaries of the US Department of Homeland Security and US Treasury.

 

White highlighted continued pursuit of digitalization with his appointment.

 

"During the past few years there has been a move towards digital solutions by the transport industry and PayCargo is a leader in interfacing digital financial capabilities that are needed by many companies," he said.

 

"My goal as a member of the board is to bring my 40+ years' experience in aviation, logistics and government to help guide the company to be able to expand and look for other opportunities in the future."
