ANA CARGO MAKES NEW APPOINTMENTS AND REORGANIZES STRUCTURE

All Nippon Airways Cargo has made a number of new appointments to its board of directors and reorganized the structure of the company, effective from April 1, 2017.

 

The new members of the board are as follows.

Yutaka Ito remains as chairman of the board.

 

Board members Makoto Sekuzu, senior vice president of global marketing, sales and international cargo sales, and Takehiko Nagao, senior vice president of solution sales, are to retire on March 31.

 

Additionally, Hidetoshi Yoshida has been appointed senior vice president of Haneda international warehouse operations and Takashi Nakai has been appointed senior vice president of Narita warehouse operations.

 

ANA Cargo will also reform its marketing, sales and operations divisions, changing the organizational structure from a divisional one to a functional one.

 

The new organization will consist of five units: global marketing, global sales, domestic cargo, cargo operation and logistics services. Overseas sales management and space and yield management responsibilities will be transferred from the old global marketing and sales division to the new global sales department.

 

The appointment of the new board members is subject to both a shareholders’ general meeting and a board meeting, according to ANA Cargo.
