CMA CGM PARTNERS WITH SEATRADE

The CMA CGM Group and reefer specialist Seatrade have set up a new vessel sharing agreement and created a service which incorporates CMA CGM’s Panama Direct and Seatrade’s Meridian services.

 

According to CMA CGM, the new service is scheduled to commence in October 2017 and will link Northern Europe, the US East Coast, Central America, the Pacific Islands, Australia, New Zealand, Peru and the Caribbean on a weekly basis.

 

The port rotation will be: Zeebrugge – London Gateway – Rotterdam – Dunkerque – Le Havre – New York – Savannah – Kingston – Cartagena – Papeete – Noumea – Brisbane – Sydney – Melboune – Nelson – Napier – Tauranga – Pisco – Paita – Kingston – Philadelphia – Zeebrugge.

 

The service will be operated by 13 ships with a capacity of 2,220-2,500 TEUs. Each vessel will have a minimum of 600 reefers for the transport of perishables such as fruits and meat, according to CMA CGM.
