Weber, who is also a member of the executive board, will not be replaced.

“With a track record of over 30 years in the freight forwarding industry, Andy Weber is a very experienced manager,” said Stefan Karlen, CEO of Panalpina. “While I regret his departure, I am pleased that he has agreed to continue to support Panalpina in a consulting role and that the company can further rely on his expertise for specific projects.”

Weber joined Panalpina in 2015 and has led various turnaround projects at the company, including making the energy and project solutions segment fit for competition, according to Panalpina.
