Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG has appointed Annette Krüger as its new spokesperson with immediate effect.
According to HHLA, Krüger succeeds Hans-Jörg Heims, who had been responsible for the entire communications department since October 1, 2017. She will also be deputy head of the department.
“Annette Krüger will strengthen our team as a highly experienced communications expert who is extremely well versed in issues pertaining to maritime economics,” said Heims. “I am convinced that she will make an important contribution to the continued professionalization of both internal and external communications due to her expertise.”
Krüger was previously responsible for press and public relations at Port of Hamburg Marketing. Before that, she spent 15 years at various communications agencies as a specialist editor, PR advisor and press officer for the transport and logistics sector.
Krüger is a trained shipping broker and qualified transport administrator. She completed her traineeship at the Deutsche Verkehrs-Zeitung, a German newspaper covering transport and logistics, according to HHLA.
