PHILIPPINE AIRLINES RECEIVES FIRST A350

Philippine Airlines has taken delivery of its first Airbus A350-900.

 

PAL will fly the new type primarily on non-stop services to Europe and North America, including the carrier’s longest route to New York, which previously involved a technical stop in Vancouver.

The carrier becomes the 19th airline to operate the A350, and now has five more A350-900s on order.


At the end of June 2018, Airbus had 882 firm orders for the A350 from 46 customers worldwide, with 182 A350s already having been delivered to 19 airlines.

Philippine Airlines currently operates a fleet which includes 27 A320 Family aircraft, 15 A330-300s and four A340-300s.
