CEVA TO OPERATE FIRST APAC DISTRIBUTION CENTRE FOR HONEYWELL AEROSPACE TRADING
September 5, 2018

CEVA Logistics has been appointed to operate the first distribution centre in Asia Pacific for Honeywell Aerospace Trading.

According to CEVA, the new facility is based at the Bukit Jelutong Industrial Park in Kuala Lumpur and provides supply chain solutions for HAT’s pre-owned certified parts to end users.

The bonded facility will handle both raw materials and finished goods for export and local distribution. CEVA will also be one of the suppliers responsible for HAT’s global air freight and import management, co-packing and customs brokerage in Malaysia. The total solution will allow HAT to have fast access to its inventory, enabling it to focus on its core competencies in providing quality and timely support to end users.

“We are pleased to be appointed as the first APAC distribution centre for Honeywell Aerospace Trading,” said Elaine Low, executive vice president of Southeast Asia at CEVA. “CEVA Logistics has a good track record and longstanding working relationship with Honeywell globally and regionally, providing end-to-end supply chain solutions that allow it to improve efficiency and reduce costs. This new facility will be an extra operation.”

CEVA’s portfolio with Honeywell in Southeast Asia also includes contract logistics and freight management solutions in Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta, as well as customs brokerage in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
