Turkish Cargo has been awarded an Authorized Economic Operator certificate, allowing it to engage in trade operations more quickly and simply.

According to Turkish, it is now the first and only air cargo carrier in Turkey to have obtained the designation, which is given to entities that are compliant with the World Customs Organization’s supply chain security standards.

AEO status will enable Turkish Cargo to take advantage of rapid shipments in specified countries. It will also be able to save time and labour by having access to on-site customs clearance procedures, and by finalizing processes to venture into new markets faster.

Turkish Cargo offers a network of 122 countries around the world.
