TURKISH CARGO TO ADD MEXICO CITY TO NETWORK

Turkish Cargo will launch a freighter service to Mexico City from October 3, 2018.

 

According to the carrier, Mexico City will be served via two different routes using a Boeing 777F. While both flights will head to the Mexican capital via Madrid, one will return to Istanbul via Bogota, Curacao and Maastricht whereas the other will return via Houston.

Exports from Mexico City include fresh flowers, perishable fruits and vegetables, technological products and automobiles, while main import items include automobiles, chemicals, petrochemical products, textile products, fish, pharmaceuticals, flowers and other perishable goods.

 

Mexico City will be Turkish Cargo’s eighth destination in Latin America and the 19th in the Americas. It will also be the carrier’s 85th freighter destination overall.
