QANTAS PICKS WFS IN DFW

Worldwide Flight Services has been awarded a three-year handling contract by Qantas at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

 

According to WFS, it will handle approximately 3,400 tonnes of cargo annually for the Australian carrier. The agreement covers ground handling for the airline’s seven weekly Airbus A380 flights to Sydney as well as cargo and ramp handling for a weekly Boeing 747-400F service.

 WFS already provides cargo handling services for the airline in Los Angeles.

 

“Qantas’ decision to award us this important new contract reflects the reputation we have established as the premier service provider for leading airlines at Dallas/Fort Worth due to our operational processes, priority focus on safety and security, business transparency and technological advances,” said Ray Jetha, senior vice president of sales and business development at WFS.

 

WFS also provides handles cargo for Qantas in Los Angeles.
