TURKISH CARGO TO BEGIN BELLY OPERATIONS AT ISTANBUL AIRPORT ON APRIL 6

Turkish Cargo will begin belly cargo operations at the new Istanbul Airport from April 6, 2019.

 

According to the carrier, operations will be carried out using a temporary satellite facility.

Freighter operations will continue to be carried out at the existing cargo terminal at Ataturk Airport until the new Mega Cargo Facility at Istanbul Airport has been constructed.

 

When all phases of the new airport are complete, Turkish Cargo will have the capability to handle 4 million tonnes of cargo per year from the new facility, which will have an indoor area of approximately 300,000 square metres.
