Port Miami said ZIM Integrated Shipping Services recently selected the gateway for its new Mediterranean - North America - Turkey (ZCT) service.

In a statement, it said the service’s first Miami-bound vessel, TRF PARTICI, will arrive on Friday, September 24, 2021.

The ZCT TRF PARTICI is a 3,500 twenty-foot equivalent units vessel, is part of a fixed bi-monthly service, calling at the Port of Miami Terminal Operating Company cargo terminal.

Its rotation will include Mersin - Yarimca, Izmit – Izmir, Aliaga – New York – Savannah - Miami – Houston – Mersin.

“We are excited to welcome ZIM’s new service to PortMiami and grow our access to Turkey, a key trade market that PortMiami has been working to grow and develop,” said Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava.

“This new trade service shows customer confidence in Port Miami and represents continued growth and expanded opportunities for Miami-Dade County’s trade and logistics community. These are all good signs as we work hard to recover our economy. We are truly grateful for ZIM’s continued partnership,” Cava added.
