December 5, 2024

Cargolux, the largest all-cargo airline in Europe, has begun offering its capacity on three major online booking platforms to enhance its digital services.

In a statement, Cargolux said it has joined the cargo.one, CargoAi and WebCargo by Freightos marketplaces to enhance its digital quote and booking offering.

The marketplaces will allow Cargolux to increase its "speed to market" capabilities offering customers swift, easy, and direct access to booking capabilities.

"As the demand for digital processes grows, we are intent on embracing change and broadening our digital reach," said Mathieu Weber, VP of Digital Sales.

"Joining marketplaces offers an additional, intuitive tool for our clients to book capacity that matches their requirements. This tool will not only enhance customer experience, it will also allow Cargolux to strengthen its market footprint," he added.

Domenico Ceci, EVP of Sales, noted that the partnership with marketplaces is the latest step in Cargolux's wide-ranging Sales Digitalization program.

"Service excellence has always been central to the Cargolux philosophy and this initiative is an additional step towards seamless and tailored service”, he said.

The cargo airline said it continues to optimize its resources and embrace innovation to meet evolving customer requirements.

This new offer fully supports Cargolux's digital transformation, a journey that aims to connect with its clients more efficiently and seamlessly.

After an initial launch in the Benelux and Germany, Cargolux said marketplace availability will gradually expand to other countries and geographical regions.
