Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced its latest offering to enhance connectivity between China and Thailand with the introduction of the new China Laem Chabang Service (CHL2).
CHL2 will be launched on January 10, 2025.
In the announcement, OOCL said CHL2 will further optimize its network coverage between East China, South China and Thailand, featuring competitive transit times and enhancing service reliability alongside the existing CHL suite services.
"CHL2 is tailored to support the growing trade demands between these dynamic markets," the shipping line said.
The new CHL2 service will follow the Shanghai – Ningbo – Xiamen – Nansha – Laem Chabang – Shekou – Shanghai port rotation.
OOCL said the first sailing of CHL2 is scheduled to start from Shanghai on January 10, 2025.
