Volga-Dnepr Group’s AirBridgeCargo has posted a 17% year-on-year increase in tonnage for the first eight months of 2015, having carried 300,000 tonnes of cargo across Asia, Europe and the US.

The airline also recorded an average load factor of 67% and a 22% rise in freight tonne-kilometres.

Denis Ilin, executive president of ABC, said that the performance was the result of the combined work of the airline’s global team.

“We are exerting our best efforts to maintain the level of growth we achieved in 2014 and to improve this by providing our customers with reliable and efficient transportation services,” said Ilin. “During the first eight months of 2015 not only have we been developing our route network and fleet but also investing heavily in service technology and attracting the best industry experts to support ABC’s clients worldwide.
