APL has launched its weekly Felixstowe Express service.

According to APL, the new FEX service provides shippers with another option to access the European market as well as the inland market in the UK.

The port rotation is: Qingdao – Yangshan – Ningbo – Xiamen – Yantian – Port Klang – Felixstowe – Rotterdam – Hamburg.

The first sailing is scheduled to depart Qingdao on August 20, 2016.

APL already serves the UK by calling at the Port of Southampton.
