AERIOS, CARGOAI TIE UP TO ADD LIVE RATE, CAPACITY DATA TO CHARTER QUOTES

Aerios has introduced a new Commercial Pricing Insights module that uses CargoAi's live aggregated rate and capacity data to give charter carriers a clearer view of market conditions during quoting.

The software provider for the air cargo charter sector and part of CargoTech said charter carriers typically have limited access to live commercial data during the quotation phase and instead rely on informal market knowledge or static and outdated data sources.

Aerios noted that within larger carriers, charter sales teams often operate separately from the general airfreight sales team, so they don't typically have access to live airfreight rates or up-to-date information on which lanes are currently served by airfreight or how often.

"All of which means quotes are often generated 'in the blind' and can result in inaccurate pricing, lost business opportunities, and missed revenue," it said.

"To address this, the Commercial Pricing Insights module helps surface real-time airfreight rates at the point of a quotation," Aerios added, noting that the new module sits inside the Carrier App quote builder and provides commercial context while a price is being created.

Once a route is constructed, users can view how their quote compares to the wider market without switching tools. It can display the aggregated current market rate, along with historical and forecast trends, helping to highlight whether a route is actively served by air freight and its frequency.

Through this integration with Cargo AI, the module delivers live, aggregated market rate data. Users can access anonymised current and forecast airfreight rates, allowing them to gain market insights without exposing individual airlines or competitors' pricing strategies.

"We welcome this partnership with Aerios who joins a number of other players of the industry who are using our live aggregated data in their process. Getting real time visibility on the next few weeks in terms of rate trends and capacity change is a game changer for the industry who has been relying for a very long time only on past data with a significant delay," said Matt Petot, founder & CEO at CargoAi.

By folding live aggregated rate data and capacity trends into the charter workflow, Aerios' Commercial Pricing Insights module gives carriers a clearer read on market conditions and helps them produce more accurate, competitive quotes.

Aerios' broader aim is to bring charter operators, brokers, and carriers onto a single digital workflow built around real‑time data. The platform combines communications and charter operations in one system, using AI‑driven insights to support faster decisions, improve coordination, and strengthen commercial performance across the chain.
