Asia Airfreight Terminal has been selected by Indian carriers SpiceJet and IndiGo as cargo-handling partner in Hong Kong.
According to AAT, SpiceJet launched passenger services from Delhi last month using a Boeing 737 MAX 8 and began a daily freighter service from Kolkata this month with a converted 737-700F.
IndiGo, which has just launched a passenger flight from Bengaluru, now serves Hong Kong seven times a week with an Airbus A320.
“We warmly welcome IndiGo to Hong Kong and to AAT,” said Kuah Boon Kiam, general manager of AAT. “Our companies have a lot in common with our mutual focus on reliability and value to the customer. Over the years, AAT has built up a strong reputation for handling airlines from India, and we will extend our fullest cooperation to IndiGo as they build up their cargo business in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta region.”
