Japan Airlines will launch a non-stop flight between Tokyo and Bengaluru in the summer of 2020.

According to JAL, the new flight will be operated daily with a Boeing 787-8.

Bengaluru is the third most populated city in India and a major IT centre. The city is also home to global companies in the telecommunications, biotechnology aerospace and automobile sectors.

JAL, which also flies daily to Delhi, will become the only airline connecting Tokyo and Bengaluru.
