Gulf Air has completed the International Air Transport Association’s biennial IATA Operational Safety Audit and renewed its registration until 2021.

According to the airline, this is the eighth IOSA certification it has successfully passed since 2005.

As we strive to remain at the forefront of safety developments this latest achievement reflects our success to date. We would like to congratulate Bahrain and the airline for yet another milestone for the Kingdom’s aviation industry.”

Gulf Air’s quality assurance department continuously reviews and appraises internal operational processes by conducting firm quality control processes and self-auditing between IOSA audits.

The IOSA programme sets standards designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline, covering approximately 1,000 standards and recommended practices related to the safety of operations and procedures of an airline.

All IATA members must remain on the IOSA registry to maintain their IATA membership.
