DEUGRO EXPANDS GLOBAL PRESENCE WITH NEW BRAZIL OFFICE

deugro is expanding its global presence announcing recently the opening of a new office in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

In a statement, the freight forwarder said the location has been strategically selected to serve its clients in the southeastern and central regions of Brazil, especially Minas Gerais.

deugro said it has strengthened its position on the Brazilian market over the last years by successfully completing turnkey projects in the mining, oil and gas, pulp and paper, as well as the power generation and distribution industries.

"The new office is another milestone underscoring the importance to serve clients across various industries in real time locally, and it allows deugro to take greater advantage of markets across southeastern Brazil," it added.

deurgo said the office opened at the end of March 2021 and is deugro’s third location in Brazil, besides the offices in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

"The focus is on serving clients with full project freight forwarding solutions primarily within the mining industry, but also in the agriculture, industrial, automotive and other industries," the freight forwarder added.

The Belo Horizonte office will be led by Mark Hollenstein, regional director, deugro Brasil Ltda., who has over 20 years of experience in the project forwarding industry and has been leading deugro’s Brazilian offices for nearly 10 years.

"This strategic decision to expand our local Brazilian network with the office in Belo Horizonte places our dedicated project team, based in the region, now even closer to our clients in southeastern Brazil," Hollenstein said.
