SF Airlines, China's largest air-cargo carrier, will see the size of its all-cargo freighter fleet exceed 70 aircraft this year.
The announcement came as the airline welcomed a B767-300BCF wide-body all-cargo freighter to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport on Monday which is the 69th aircraft of the SF Airlines fleet — and the first to join the fleet this year.
The airline also recently officially established its headquarters for western China at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, with a view to establishing a regional hub.
It will provide the airline with its fourth regional hub following those in Beijing, Hangzhou and Shenzhen.
SF Airlines noted that the steady expansion of aircraft capacity will create a good foundation for expanding the route network and building an aviation hub in the future.
Headquartered in Shenzhen, SF Airlines is the aviation branch of China's delivery giant SF Express.
