
Turkish Cargo and Hong Kong Air Cargo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on April 22, marking a key step toward deeper strategic cooperation between the two carriers.
The agreement outlines plans for expanded freighter collaboration, codeshare arrangements, and enhanced connectivity across major global routes.
The MoU, the announcement noted, is designed to enhance service quality and deliver greater value to customers worldwide.
"This partnership with Turkish Cargo represents a strategic alignment of two dynamic cargo carriers with complementary strengths. By combining our operational expertise and network reach, we aim to deliver more efficient and customer-focused cargo solutions across the globe," said Tony Ma, chairman of Hong Kong Air Cargo.
Ali Türk, chief cargo officer of Turkish Airlines, noted that Hong Kong is a key logistics hub in Asia, and the carrier's collaboration with Hong Kong Air Cargo underscores its commitment to expanding its presence in the region.
"Together, we will explore innovative models of cooperation that unlock new commercial opportunities and elevate service offerings for our customers," Türk said.
The MoU sets the foundation for a shared vision of enhanced cooperation through aligned commercial strategies and joint operational initiatives.
Both parties are committed to ensuring that the partnership remains mutually beneficial and globally competitive.
