CATHAY LAUNCHES A350 TO GATWICK AND DÜSSELDORF

Cathay Pacific has launched long-haul operations with its Airbus A350-900s, deploying the new type on the London Gatwick and Düsseldorf routes.

 

The new Gatwick flight is operated four times a week.

Cathay already flies five times daily to London Heathrow and four times a week to Manchester.

The airline has also replaced the Boeing 777-300ER flying the Düsseldorf route with the A350.

The Düsseldorf flight was launched in October 2015 and is operated four times a week. It is Cathay’s second destination in Germany after Frankfurt, which is served with a daily 777-300ER.
