According to ACP, it will provide resources to cover all sales, marketing, reservations, customer service and import functions for the airline, which operates flights around the islands of Vanuatu and to Australia, Fiji, New Caledonia and New Zealand.

“We are confident of developing new traffic through the new interline opportunities and providing increased market share from existing and new customers,” said Ross Di Lizio, director of Australia and New Zealand at ACP Worldwide. “We are confident that Air Vanuatu will solidify its position as the carrier of choice to Vanuatu from Australia and New Zealand and we are very proud and privileged to have been appointed as the exclusive GSA in the region.”

Air Vanuatu, which offers belly capacity on its Boeing 737-800 passenger services between Port Vila and Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland, has been managing its own cargo sales representation in the region for the past few years.

“We are delighted to have chosen ACP Worldwide to manage the Air Vanuatu Cargo product and help deliver our vision of being the preferred air cargo partner to Vanuatu and beyond,” said Jeff Murdoch, general manager of commercial at Air Vanuatu. “We look forward to working with ACP and supporting them in order to make the most of the potential interline opportunities. The resources that they bring and the processes and systems they possess will help to develop a robust and reliable, service-orientated cargo product.”
