CHINA AIRLINES PICKS WFS FOR HONOLULU HANDLING
July 17, 2017

China Airlines has signed a contract with Worldwide Flight Services for ground handling services in Honolulu.

The airline operates a twice-weekly non-stop flight from Taipei and a daily flight via Tokyo Narita, both with Airbus A330-300s.

“We are extremely proud that China Airlines continues to show its confidence in WFS in Honolulu by recognizing the quality of the services we deliver for the airline and its customers, and through the awarding of another new contract for cargo handling,” said Ray Jetha, senior vice president of sales and business development in North America at WFS. “This is a great tribute to our local team and clearly demonstrates the importance and value of high-quality customer service.”

WFS has been providing its services to China Airlines since 2001, when it was awarded a passenger service contract. WFS was also awarded a ramp-handling contract in 2005.
