June 20, 2018

Singapore Airlines has renewed its cargo-handling contracts with Worldwide Flight Services in London and Paris.

WFS handles cargo carried on the airline’s two Airbus A380s and two Boeing 777-300ERs at London Heathrow every day, as well as Singapore Airlines Cargo’s twice-weekly 747-400F service.

In France, WFS provides handling services for the carrier’s daily A380 at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and also provides domestic trucking at all WFS stations across the country. The two companies began working together in France in 1986.

WFS already provides cargo handling for Singapore Airlines in Copenhagen, Frankfurt and Stockholm.

“Singapore Airlines is highly respected for the quality of its cargo services and WFS is delighted to be supporting this reputation through the expertise of our handling teams in France, the UK and at other stations in Europe and Scandinavia,” said Stéphane Scholving, director of cargo sales in Europe at WFS. “In Paris, we have worked together for over 30 years, so we clearly understand Singapore Airlines’ service requirements. This is enabling us to continue to grow our relationship with the airline at other points in its international network.”
