OMAN AIR PASSES IATA SAFETY AUDIT
October 3, 2018

Oman Air has passed the International Air Transport Association Operational Safety Audit.

The IOSA programme is mandatory for all IATA member airlines and assesses compliance with standards in operations management, flight operations, cabin operations, maintenance, flight dispatch, ground and cargo operations and security.

Oman Air’s IOSA Renewal Audit was conducted by Aviation Quality Services, an audit organization accredited by IATA. During the audit, the IOSA team examined Oman Air’s safety procedures and processes in detail, working together with the airline’s operations and maintenance teams.

“The IOSA is probably the most important examination of our operations and the results are testament to our all-encompassing safety culture,” said Eng. Abdulaziz Al Raisi, CEO of Oman Air. “I can say with confidence that Oman Air staff will continue to implement and deliver the most efficient of safety procedures in all their operations to ensure we remain industry leaders in this field.”
