CHINA REPORTS FULL FREIGHTER SERVICES CARGO UP 31% IN APRIL

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) reported both its cargo and passenger volumes dropped anew in April although full freighter services cargo was up.
In a statement, CAAC said its passenger volumes declined by 68.5% to 16.7 million year-on-year, while its cargo volumes also dropped by 19.4% to 484,000 tonnes last month, according to its latest traffic highlights released on May 13.
Meanwhile, the aviation authority under the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China said full freighter services saw increased volume throughout the month.
CAAC said full freighter services was up 31.1% to 23,700 tonnes in April.
Aircraft movements remained muted, declining by 56.8% to 208,700 throughout the month.
