DAILY FREQUENCIES IN CHINA REACHES 60% PRE-PANDEMIC LEVEL

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) said daily frequencies exceeded 10,000 for the first time since February 2020 when the coronavirus outbreak started to bite into airline operations.
In a statement, CAAC said this number represents 60% of China's pre-coronavirus level.
"Daily frequencies exceeded 10,000 for the first time since 01 February 2020, reaching 10,262 on 15 May 2020," it said.
At the height of the outbreak, with global lockdown implemented, daily frequencies reached a record low of 3,931 on 23 January 2020 and averaged 6,538 in March 2020.
By April, daily frequencies in China was at 6,950 and it increased further to 8,900 daily as of May 2020 as the mainland eases restrictions.
