Thai Airways recently sought potential buyers for almost three dozen of its used Boeing and Airbus planes as part of the carrier's restructuring plan.
The flag carrier of Thailand said via its official website that it will launch a bidding process for the sale of 34 aircraft with an aim to find buyers by November 13.
The aircraft up for sale include ten (10) Boeing 747-400; six (6) Boeing 777-200; six (6) Boeing 777-300; two (2) Boeing 737-400.
Thai Airways is also selling six (6) Airbus A340-600 aircraft; three (3) A340-500; and one A300-600 plane.
All the aircraft will be offered on an “as-is, where-is” basis and the sale will be under a business reorganization plan approved by a bankruptcy court in September, according to Thai Airways.
