MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is launching two new weekly services from China to the North America West Coast in a bid to meet continued strong Transpacific demand.

MSC said the new service will follow the rotation: DaChan Bay – Shekou – Long Beach – DaChan Bay, with the first sailing by MSC Bhavya from DaChan Bay on October 3.

Meanwhile, the rotation of MSC’s new Mustang service will be Shanghai – Long Beach – Shanghai, with the first sailing of MSC Anya from Shanghai starting October 16.

Both Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach are currently experiencing unprecedented levels of congestion triggered by various disruptions in the supply chain and market demand.
