Delta Cargo announced that it is imposing an embargo on Live Animals at Frankfurt Airport.

In a notice, the cargo arm of Delta Air Lines said the embargo includes all LIV, AVA, and PET product codes.

“Due to a strike in Frankfurt’s airport, Delta Cargo is issuing an embargo for all live animals (import/export/transfer) at Frankfurt (FRA),” the carrier said.

The embargo is effective immediately through 6:15 am local time on May 7, 2022.

Delta said impacted customers will be notified and rebooked.
