CMA CGM is further enhancing its service offering between Asia and Red Sea.

The carrier has expanded direct coverage between China and the Red Sea region with an upgrade to its REX2 service.

It said that starting October 2025, the upgraded REX2 will feature a new direct call at Qingdao, China; a new direct call at Aqaba, Jordan; and double calls at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The updated REX2 service will follow the Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Nansha – Singapore – Djibouti – Jeddah – Sokhna – Aqaba – Jeddah – Qingdao rotation.

"With this strategic upgrade, REX2 will provide weekly sailings and faster transit times, offering full coverage from China to the Red Sea and reinforcing CMA CGM's position as the best choice for your shipments between Asia and the Red Sea," the ocean carrier said.
