HAWAIIAN AIR CARGO, ALASKA AIR CARGO START COMBINING LOCATIONS
January 2, 2025

Hawaiian Air Cargo and Alaska Air Cargo are continuing to co-locate operations in January — announcing new combined locations in Hawaii and the U.S. mainland.

This comes after the carriers announced in September that Hawaiian Air Cargo has joined Alaska Airlines Cargo after Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines completed their merger.

Co-location stations will enable customers to drop off and pick up freight for both airlines at a single station.

"Working with our co-located operations will start to look a little different in January as we work toward fully integrating our cargo operations," the announcement from both airlines said.

"In addition to our new combined physical cargo locations, our contact information for shipment support will remain separate for the time being."

Hawaiian Air Cargo and Alaska Air Cargo noted that cargo stations with co-located services coming in January include Seattle (SEA), effective January 6, 2025.

"Hawaiian Air Cargo will join Alaska Air Cargo at their hometown Seattle facility. Hawaiian Air Cargo customers will enjoy extended hours and more services than currently available at the current location," the announcement said.

The firms will also combine its locations in Lihu'e, Hawaii effective January 21, 2025, and Maui (OGG), effective January 27, 2025.

Hawaiian Air and Alaska Air, earlier said both brands will be maintained — a first for a US airline, although both freight carriers will work together to optimize both shipping networks.

Hawaiian Air Cargo noted that the two companies' cargo operations will be integrated "gradually over the weeks and months ahead." Integrating bookings and networks will also follow.
