DP World, in collaboration with OneStop, has announced the launch of container management solution, OptiBook, at DP World Fisherman Island Terminal, Brisbane.
The global logistics provider said this system reduces dwell times, optimises truck utilisation, and promotes safer, more sustainable supply chains.
Transport operators will be able to book and manage containers from one screen under the new platform, which aims to streamline the process.
DP World said OneStop's OptiBook, an extension of the Vehicle Booking System, is scheduled to go live on Thursday, 10 July 2025.
"This is part of a broader strategy to enhance our overall offering at our terminal in Brisbane, the key trade hub to facilitate the flow of goods at the core of Queensland's economy," said Nicolaj Noes, executive vice president, Oceania, DP World.
"Our team will work with OneStop to ensure our customers are properly onboarded onto the new platform, to access a faster and more efficient booking experience."
DP World Fisherman Island will initially operate OptiBook at the vessel level to ensure a smooth transition.
Operators using OptiBook can continue booking, manifesting, and managing stack runs within existing VBS workflows, now with added visibility via the Container List screen.
New features include hold status, estimated discharge and storage start dates, and a Notify Me option to signal when containers are ready to book.
Sam Askin, CEO, OneStop, said the transition to OptiBook marks an important step in delivering greater visibility and efficiency across the supply chain.
"With enhanced visibility via the Container List screen, operators gain clearer oversight and greater control of their workflows."
"In addition, carriers will soon benefit from improved access to booking and manifest information, along with real-time communication through the OneStop Deliver App. We appreciated the opportunity to walk the industry through the upcoming system enhancements during our recent familiarisation session with DP World," Askin added.
