AIR ONE has appointed Clair Gunn as commercial operations director as it continues to strengthen its position in the air charter, scheduled cargo, and wet lease sectors globally.
In her new role, Gunn leads the Group's commercial operations, with responsibility for fleet capacity planning, network and schedule design, and driving revenue performance across both charter and scheduled services.
She will also work closely with the management teams of AIR ONE's subsidiary and affiliate airlines to optimise fleet utilisation and strengthen customer value.
Gunn joined AIR ONE in January 2023 and held the post of deputy head of charters prior to this latest promotion.
Over more than 25 years in the aviation industry, she has worked in senior roles spanning operations, commercial strategy, and key account management.
Peter Scholten, chief commercial officer at AIR ONE, said the appointment is an important step in aligning the carrier's commercial and operational functions as the company continues to grow. "Her deep understanding of cargo markets and proven leadership will ensure we maximise efficiency across the network while creating new opportunities for our customers worldwide," he said.
Gunn's appointment also marks another step in AIR ONE's ambition to strengthen its global cargo offering, ensuring customers benefit from an agile network, optimised capacity, and tailored solutions for every shipment.
Over the past five years, AIR ONE and its airline partners have operated over 3,750 full charters carrying more than 345,000 tonnes of cargo to 100+ destinations globally.
In September, AIR ONE also launched its first-ever scheduled freighter services with a new four-times weekly Boeing 747-400F operation connecting Hong Kong and the United Kingdom with more destinations to be added.
