Ocean Alliance has introduced its DAY 10 service network for 2026, its tenth year of cooperation, featuring 41–42 loops and expanded Asia–Europe coverage. The updated structure emphasizes operational resilience as carriers continue to navigate geopolitical and supply‑chain uncertainty.
The DAY 10 product will deploy 394 vessels across the alliance's four members—CMA CGM, COSCO Shipping, Evergreen Marine, and OOCL—with a combined capacity of around 5.3 million TEU.
The network covers major East–West trades, including Asia–North Europe, Asia–Mediterranean, Transpacific, Transatlantic, and Middle East services.
"As we step into 2026, OCEAN Alliance further optimizes its products in response to the evolving needs of customers and the dynamic market environment," OOCL, a member of the Ocean Alliance said.
"With the introduction of the OCEAN Alliance Day 10 products, which include port rotation refinements as well as enhanced service coverage and reliability, we aim to provide world-class shipping solutions to customers, all while enhancing global trade stability and demonstrating our commitment to a sustainable future in shipping," it added.
Alliance members said the refreshed rotations are designed to maintain schedule reliability while offering flexibility to reroute vessels via the Cape of Good Hope or the Suez Canal depending on security conditions.
"As there are still uncertainties in the Red Sea region, OOCL's vessels will continue to be diverted to the Cape of Good Hope route for now to ensure the safety of our crews, your cargo and our vessels," the ocean carrier said.
"At the same time, we are fully aware of the importance of preparing in advance, therefore, we will also provide a Suez Canal version of port rotation for applicable routes outlined in this announcement, but the exact time of implementation will be subject to the company's further notice."
The group, through OOCL, also highlighted broader port coverage on Asia–Europe loops and adjustments to match shifting cargo demand.
Ocean Alliance, launched in 2017, remains the largest operational container shipping alliance by deployed capacity. Its DAY 10 network will take effect in 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
Ocean Alliance members typically implement their annual product updates at the start of the year to align with contract cycles and seasonal demand patterns, and the DAY 10 launch will follow that established timeline.
