Turkish Cargo has introduced its new aviation logistics product, TK Aero, at an event held at SmartIST in Istanbul, bringing together customers and representatives from Turkish Cargo, Turkish Technic and Turkish Technology. The session outlined the product’s scope and its role in meeting the sector's increasing time‑critical and technical requirements.
TK Aero is designed for the transport of high‑value and operationally sensitive aviation components, including aircraft engines, helicopters, spare parts and UAVs. The product is built around two service categories: TK Aero Spare, which covers planned maintenance and routine shipments, and TK Aero Advanced, tailored for aircraft and helicopter engines.
Time‑critical AOG shipments are also handled within the TK Aero structure through dedicated processes and priority treatment.
Speaking at the launch, Ali Türk, senior vice president of Cargo at Turkish Airlines, said Turkish Cargo had maintained its third‑place global ranking by freight tonne kilometers in the first nine months of 2025.
He emphasized that this achievement reflects the organization's agile structure, effective capacity management, and strong partnerships, adding that TK Aero represents a key milestone in Turkish Cargo's vision to deliver specialized, value-added solutions for the aviation industry.
Türk also noted that, as of 2026, the cargo fleet has reached 28 aircraft, reaffirming the company's commitment to its global leadership ambitions through sustainability- and efficiency-driven investments.
With TK Aero, Turkish Cargo is expanding its specialization in aviation logistics and advancing its strategy of developing sector‑specific products, working closely with customers and partners as it scales the offering.
