Eurogate has appointed Manuela Drews managing director of Eurogate Container Terminal Bremerhaven and Wolfgang Schiemann managing director of Eurogate Container Terminal Hamburg, effective from January 1, 2017.
Drews [left] succeeds Schiemann [centre], who in turn will replace Peter Zielinski [right], who is retiring on December 31, 2016.
Zielinski has acted as managing director of Eurogate Container Terminal Hamburg since 1999.
Drews, who has been operations manager and authorized representative at Eurogate Container Bremerhaven since April 2010, joined the Eurogate Group in 2003. She is also a customs agent and a member of the board of the Bremerhaven Port Tunnel Association.
Schiemann, who was operations manager at Eurogate Container Terminal Hamburg from 2000 to 2004, moved to Bremerhaven in July 2004 to act as managing director of the Eurogate terminal there.
