Emirates will start flying to Mashhad in Iran from September 1, 2015.
The second largest city in Iran will be Emirates’ second destination in the country. The flight will be operated five times weekly with an Airbus A330-200.
Emirates SkyCargo will be able to offer 17 tonnes of freight capacity on the route. Goods expected to be carried between Dubai and Mashhad include saffron, nuts, fruits, leather and personal effects, according to a statement.
