American Airlines Cargo is expanding its operations at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport with a new 12,000-square-foot facility and additional members of staff.

“This new location will allow us to process cargo more efficiently, providing the best possible experience our customers expect and deserve,” said Tom Cartwright, senior manager of field operations at AA Cargo. “We are excited that our customers will now benefit from the extensive trucking networking, along with our dedicated facility.”

The new facility is located at the airport’s north cargo area and is expected to reduce processing times for AA’s customers.

The Atlanta cargo facility was last expanded by AA in 2013.
