LUFTHANSA CARGO LAUNCHES TRACKING APP

Lufthansa Cargo has released “Lufthansa Cargo eServices,” its free shipment-tracking mobile application.

 

“After the launch of the ePortal in the summer, the start of the new, integrated eServices app is a further step towards the digitization of our cargo process,” said Boris Hueske, programme manager of e-cargo at Lufthansa Cargo.

 

According to the carrier, users will be able to receive constant updates regarding their shipments via push notifications, look at an overview of all current bookings, as well as access information on high-security shipments using an optional log-in process. Customers will also be able to submit preliminary claims, complaints and feedback by way of photos.

 

The new app can be downloaded on the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, the Windows Phone Store and Lufthansa Cargo’s website.
